Well…. Should have done a build thread along time ago thought it would be a good idea to have a nice thread of saved tank information.
This tank was bought 2nd hand off of another local reefer and an upgrade from an old red sea 40 gallon. I’ve had it running since about august of last year and aside from some RBTA and some LPS have stocked the tank myself. Most of the RBTA (sans one) have been traded in to local fish stores due to them killing everything around them and Insane growth
Current status 2/23/23
I run 6 hydra AI a combination of the new blue tooth series and the older Wi-Fi series
I have a 64 and two 32s in the center of my tank flanked by a 52 on the left and two 26s on the far right.
I suppose in the future I may upgrade all to newer models but for now I use the corners to hide some LPS out of the bright lights.
Maintenance
I run 2 reef diapers for socks changed every three days. Highly recommend.
On Mondays I dose Reef Snow with Microbactor 7 per
On Thursdays I dose Reef Actif per instructions on and I do 6ml per day of tropic Marin carbon dosing
I run my skimmer with lime from BRS to help raise PH.
I run a small UV, passive carbon and GFO.
I do a two gallon AWC daily with Tropic Marin Reef Pro ran by my Hydros Controller.
I feed in the realm of 4 cubes a day with some pellets and Nori mixed in on different days.
