I've recently fitted a co2 scrubber which has Increased the ph to a nighttime low of 8.2 (from 7.9) and a daytime high of 8.36 (from 8.1) so appearing to be working well.

To increase the longevity of the media I printed a new skimmer lid to add the recirculating system.

As you can see in the pictures I'm getting a fair bit of condensation in the canister and pipework from the skimmer lid to the canister Inlet, obviously a bit of condensation is ok as it keeps the humidity up in the canister (a tiny bit of water in the bottom is recommended I've read)

However this is building up the the coil of the pipe and eventually will fill to a point of blocking it, I can of course manually drain it or even add a tap of some sort to drain it, or should I drill a breather hole into the skimmer lid or the actual pipe to counteract this condensation?

Another possible solution that came to mind is to run the pipe from the skimmer lid vertically so the majority of the condensation may just fall back into the skimmer cup.....
