hello all, recently I noticed that my clownfish has been sleeping during the day meaning laying or rubbing ( swimming up and down touching the rock ) onto one piece of rock for hours a day sometimes laying still ( I am not sure if she has been doing this for a while only recently noticed it ) and wanted to know if this is normal behavior? She sleeps at night as well but in a different spot mostly if I had to pick she is more active at night. she lives alone is a 20 gal that has been running for about a year she was moved out of my display due to severe aggression towards other fish
water prams ~
temp ~ 78 - 82 ( 78 at night 80 - 82 during the day )
salinity ~ 1.026 - 1.028
nitrate ~ 0 - 5ppm
phosphate ~ 0 - .5
ph ~ 8.0 - 8.2

all answers apreciated

There is no normal behavior with clown fish, but the behavior you describe is nothing to worry about in my opinion.
She just seems to like that spot for one reason or another.

Thank you for the clarification
she used to have an anemone and she does seem to be displaying similar behavior as when she hosted it
