Hello, I was thinking about setting up a clownfish harem tank.
I would like to do black ice clownfish. How many could i put in a 90G tank? I was thinking 15-20?
Also any tips on how many anemones i should get?
Also would like to know if anyone has black ice clowns for sale or knows a good company to purchase clowns from.
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. I have been researching a lot about it. Not trying to just jump straight into this.

I’d get you a pic of our clown harem tank, but the population broke down over 5 years and we just have 3 pair left (sigh).
We started with 40 TR true percs from the same batch. 100 gallon tank filled with BTAs.

I would make sure you have some aggressive nutrient export with that many clowns in a 90g. I considered doing a clown harem and if I recall the BRS team were doing something like a 50 gal weekly water change and their tank was pretty large. Also I believe heavy feeding was a large part of their success. Maybe watch that series in its entirety. It was a successful and really cool build but very labor intensive.
