Good morning. I have a female clownfish that is swimming in circles in the sand like she is trying to dig a hole in the sand. She isn't bothering anything I'm just curious what she's doing.

its digging an escape tunnel 
its somewhat normal clownfish behavior, when they have no anemone. Mine do it, the pair lives in the crater in the sand. They always clean it, fan it, remove any snails or asterina's that intrude near their hole in the corner.
