I’ve had clownfish all of reef keeping. My most recent pair was a black and white ocellaris along with a classic orange ocellaris. Black ocellaris killed the orange one which I was bummed about but stuff happens. 2 months down the road I picked up another orange clown.(last week). All was well until 2 days ago the black clownfish started beating the hell out of the orange one and eventually killed it… this is the second fish it’s killed. Any suggestions? Why is it doing this? I know they may be pairing up and changing sexes or whatever but this seems a bit extreme.

the black clown does not mess with any other fish of my knowledge

this is a 15 gallon with lots of rock so everyone should have their space… not sure what’s going on with him. Now it’s the only fish in there other than a YWG/pistol pair.
