noticing this yesterday on my clown she is in a 5 gallon pico for now. started getting a white spot it’s been running for 6 months with her starting in the tank. tested my parameters everything is stable. Never checked ammonia could this be the cause? I do weekly water changes 50% weekly with dosing Kh everyday For stability. Also I dose microbacter 7 a bunch weekly in this tank having a little algae issue . I have 4 tanks this one is really testing my patience. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

To me that doesn't appear to be Brook which has a distinct flake appearance. But it could just be the pictures not showing as much detail. So your suspension could be correct.

If you have Ruby Reef Pro I would do a 90min dip using some of the tanks water. Whether it's Brook or a bacterial issue the RRP is going to help and buy some time to assess further.

Thanks for your help I’ll get some today and try that. She is eating fine no change in behavior. The white spot is on both sides.
