Figured I would start planning things out and get some additional ideas

Equipement
Tank: Lifegard 4.1 AIO
Light: AI Prime 16HD
Return: Stock for now might upgrade later
5lbs dry live rock
5lbs Agaronite special grade (have about 80lbs cleaned from previous tank)
25w heater (still deciding)
ATO: Manual for the time being (will be adding one soon though)

Inverts
1-2 snails (if needed)
3 dwarf blue leg hermits
maybe a shrimp (not sure which one yet)

Corals?
I know with this light I can adjust but looking at LPS/Zoas mainly

Can't wait for this tank to come in so I can start getting things set up but probably won't get water in it until end of February or so due to work travel. Also gives me some time to run to LFS to take a look and price things out.

Tank and light came in finally and it wasn’t cracked. Have the special grade on hand salt for mixing. Waiting on the star to get her and bacteria for seeding the tank. Once I get back from work travel next Thursday I hope to get it set up and cycling.

Looks nice! Careful with that light, it's a bit overkill for a 4g tank
Thats why I got it for the adjustability and I am sure that I will want to upgrade in the future. But yes going to figure it all out before adding any corals to this little tank.

Gotcha. I have a 16hd on my bowfront tank. I'm very happy with it and the app is very user friendly

That is good to hear I read that it was user friendly and that it wasn't. I just liked the fact that I didn't have to buy an additional controller for the lights and being able to use my phone is bonus I feel.

You probably love the light! Great nano light! I started with one and kept getting more as my tank got bigger. Now all three are on separate nano tanks between me and my two friends (got a single light for main tank to swap).

Due to winter storm my work trip was rescheduled leave Wednesday on top of that some stuff is delayed that was being shipped so will be another week or so now. Oh well power is out right now but thankfully I have portable generators when this stuff happens.

they seem to be an awesome little tank. I got the stax rocks so I could have a little more control of the scape snd how I wanted it to look. Still need to get a few things before I set it up and get it cycling. This past winter storm did a number around the house here so I have to go a little slower than originally planed. One thing about reefing is it will teach to patience or things go bad real fast in such a small tank. My last tank was a biocube 12g in 2006 then my daughter was born the seals started leaking and I torn it down. It was up for about 1 and half.

Made the last order of items needed for tank got an inkbird ITC 308S and hydor 25w heater coming in soon. Once those are in I can get water in the tank and start the cycle process.

I have a fan but looking at getting a new smaller and quieter fan. Still looking for that. Just need to see what the temps will be. I keep the house AC set at 77 so really temp is 76-78 of course that is summer time.
