Ok, so I have this app called Geek. It's basically just a bunch of cheap Chinese knockoff items for ridiculously low prices. Sometimes you strike out, and sometimes you strike gold. But, either way, you're never out much money.

Anyway, I bought this 3-in-1 clip on lens for $1 shipped. It comes with a fisheye, wide angle, and macro lens that clips on to your smart phone. And as you can clearly see on the box, it is a "good product"

Surprisingly, it's not that bad. Unfortunately, I'm at work and haven't had a chance to take pictures of the tank yet. But, I have a little downtime right now and took some pictures of my ring.

Normal picture with my iPhone 6s.

This is as zoomed and clear of a shot I can get with just the iPhone 6s camera.

These are as close up and as clear as I can get with the clip on macro lens.

I must say, for $1 shipped, not a bad investment. I will take tank pictures with it tomorrow.

I can't ever seem to get a decent picture with my iphone 6s. Always comes out way to blue and you can even see the coral.

Hate my iPhone 6 camera; even had it replaced for free by Apple because of a known issue for a range of serial numbers. No improvement really.

Was looking at the clip on macro lenses by Olloclip, and have passed some far. Very nice results with your lenses Chris!

@Chriscrna - I tried to browse through the Geek app it there seems to be tons of iPhone lens packages. Any way to narrow down to which one in particular you got?
Try Amazon.com;)

Yep. Can't beat $1 package Yash. I'm not sure how to narrow the search though. Here's what I got:

Trio, the description claims that it's universal.

Lol @Rausch. This ring is beat to hell....been on my finger nearly 17 years.

I honestly feel like 6s coral pictures look worst than my 4s pics. This only applies to taking the pictures of my tank though in general the camera is insane. It can't focus as well for some reason.

Well I just spent about an hour playing around with this lens. It definitely takes decent macro pics. But….....and this is a BIG BUTT(and I cannot lie).....you have to be nearly on top of whatever you're taking a picture of to get a macro pic. And I mean, almost literally on top

If you have a frag rack and can move it to the top of the tank, then it's OK. Taking pictures through the glass though....not so much. The coral has to be right up against the glass to get a decent macro picture of it.

I still need to get better and incorporate the white balance, but here's what I've got so far.

Blondie completely out of the water

Green slimer through the front pane of glass

So.....meh. I'll play around with it some more. But, I only spent one dollar total on this, so I can't ***** too much.
