Initially thought it might have been a mantis, but nothing has died from it, nor been disturbed by it seemingly. So I’m curious if anyone has had this happen.

Below is a video and a listing of the little equipment I have running.

Innovative Marine 100 Gallon INT Aquarium with full plumbing/sump included.
Two AI Hydra 32 HD lights.
Eheim Jager Thermocontrol 200/250 (can’t recall)
Fluval Sea Circulation Pump CP3

I have about 20lbs of TBS live rock, and about 80lbs of aquacultured live rock from LFS.

The clicking happens randomly it seems, lights on or off and seems to be coming toward the back of the tank, but that could just be because it’s against that wall. Anyone have any ideas? Just want to make sure everything is fine and I won’t wake up one morning to a huge mess in my living room. The clicking has been happening for a month or two now.

Any assistance would greatly be appreciated by my reef, the members of my household, and our sanity haha.

Mine was a mantis. 6”. Beat the crap out of two bottom dwellers. No live rock ever used. Must have escaped detection for years. Stalks at night.

Clicking from time to time, in the back.

Found by chance. Destroyed.
