Got some live rock from GLR, I think I got this guy identified before but just wanted to make sure. It's making a pretty loud clicking noise and i'm not sure if he's reef safe or I should be going crazy to get him out before adding a decent size CUC.

Hard to tell from the video but the eyes kind of look like a mantis shrimp. Which are fairly common in gulf rock

Ok thanks guys, would a fish store typically take one for donation? I wouldnt want to harm the guy if I got it out
It depends. Can't say for sure. I am sure you can call and ask. But don't think getting the creature out will be easy though.

Ohh yeah, especially since I really don't want to pull that specific piece of rock that he's in out of the tank. I haven't fed the tank anything so he could be pretty hungry to maybe trap him.
