Ok, this is a bizarre comment and one that seems to be the opposite of questions about water clarity. My reef tank is about 7+ months established. I am now growing Coralline algae. I would say that my tank has always been fairly clear. However, the past month or so, it became clearer than I have ever seen any of my tanks in the past.
The water looks good enough to drink, lol. It's like glacial water. The question I have is, what biological situation am I in? I have to clean the inside of the glass not as often and all the algae growth went away except for enough to feed my snails. I haven't done anything different so my question is, how do I keep it this way? Just keep doing what I've been doing? I figured something happened in the tank that takes months to get to and now I am finally at that "right balance".
