I have a ton of feather duster worms with the soft brown tubes mixed in with my cheato .
I am pulling one handful of cheato out weekly as it seams to grow very fast .
Can I remove everything and rinse in tank water to try getting rid of the feather duster soft tubes ?
Or is it best to leave alone ?

I had to turn the skimmer off to get a decent picture

How's the tank on top look? I cleaned out my sump 4 months ago and took out all that stuff. I should have just cleaned maybe a quarter of it. It caused a little imbalance with my nutrients
Other than the glass being due to be cleaned it doesn’t look terrible .
Nitrates are very low 0-2 ppm last week when I tested
But phosphates we’re extremely high ( 0.6 ppm

For the most part it’s “mature”
Rocks have all been in this setup for 3 years and come from the last tank that was over 10 years old

there is enough for every tang , foxface and blenny to graze on
Along with this yellow sponge that’s been growing on the underside of a large rock for many years and starting to spread to others .
If I could get rid of some Xenia that would also help
