Its a wrasse, and if you have one I'd love to hear about it! Who he or she lives with and hopefully some pics!

I have 2 and used to have 3 of them. They lose quite a bit of their color if you dont have females. But they do look good when they flash.

Now that is what I was looking for. Thank you!

Last night I found a pair of Pylei Cebu with the most amazing black and blue marking much like the front of a female Wantanabe Angel. It was at my LFS that I shop regularly.

Pylei do lose alot of color like brad said and i think these guys need a few females to really keep thier color...if you can ever find a few females and a nice terminal male to go with them and catch him displaying you will be rewarded with some great color changes i think the cebu varient has the best color..also seen it called the sunset fairy...also pylei males seem to ship bad from what i hear i have not kept them but hear the are one of the least aggressive of fairys

Is it possible to ID male from female when they are alone and seperate from the opposite sex? Specifically the Cebu?

Crap, there were two others with it at the time that meet this exact discription but were called Blue Side wrasse. Same shape and everything coloration more like a Lubbocks but more blueish and did have a distinctive dot near tail not on fins like the males.

Here is my new addition. Still in the specimen jar, little scared in QT this morning. The black marking on the tail fin can hardly be seen because its been nipped off by another fish
