Chitons?

I scrubbed off one of my clams today to ship it out to another member and it was covered in these guys, I think they are Chitions "SP"? They were only like 1/4" long at the most, I put them back into my tank as I didn't think they were harmful.

yup, chitons- another algae/detritus grazer as best as I know- but I've been wrong before (as in the case of the anthias catching flatworm :tongue:)

LOL yeah I needed to make a little space on the sandbed. I wanted to get some Scoly's or something similar but there is a vendor who has some really nice Maxima's for sale right now so the choice is hard.

I am surprised that I have these guys, I have a Yellow Coris Wrasse and he seems to get every little creature there is in there. My snails spawn but I never see little guys.
