Without a doubt out pics are taken under t5's. Even the shots by my buddy are under T5's with flash and they look amazing.

I expect your LED's are producing a bit of a difference in coloration.

Think they'll get better with LEDs or loose some of the coloration? Do you know the type of lighting they originally came from?

The guy I got em from had them under metal halides, 12k reeflux to be exact. The fixtures were hanging 2' above the water so par was probably similar to a T5.

In our case we run 16" deep tanks that are 36" wide over which we have 8 bulb T5 fixtures. The tank with the RDPE's there are 5 ATI blue plus and 1 ATI aqua blue special. When taking a photo I add a 15k aqua science to the mix to whiten it up.

I havent had any color change for the two weeks I have had them, they have held color very well.

Since LED's are so different spectrum wise compared to a T5 who knows what will happen long term. Maybe they get better, maybe worse, time will tell.

Good to know they will look like that under T5s.

I run 3 blue +, a purple +, and an aquablue special on my 40B frag tank & 5 blue +, 2 purple +, and an aquablue special on my 120. Should be pretty close!

It looks a little better. It is just hard to capture true color in pic. I will try and get more pics later if light is still on when i get home
