Caterpillar looking snail??

It has what looks like a purple snail shell on its back. It has antennas and can stretch out like a caterpillar? Any idea?
You can see it stretching out in the blue light picture.

I really like them. If you have 2 they will multiply readily. Mine I can sometimes see shooting eggs into the water column. There are several types. Some, maybe all, even break their tale off to wiggle and attract whatever may be after them.

He was munching away on algae and yes I think there is another one in there at least I hope that’s what it is? See picture

yes and there are 2 for sure. Those guys are constantly eating and moving around.
