Hi all,

Has anyone used both Caribsea and Real Reef solutions together? I'm not worried about the cycling and all, more so, the esthetics of putting these two together. I want to use primarily Caribsea rock for the base and Real Reef solutions for some of the accent pieces. If anyone has and has pictures that would be appreciated. Thank you.

Here is my tank for reference the real reef rock is under the arches and under a hammer on the left. You can still tell the difference in person but it's not that noticeable unless you search for it. Plus coralline covers it unless you have a massive urchin like me. There is also pukani in there.

I’m worried about the difference in colors.
I tried mixing them and hated it due to the Caribsea being a darker purplish color and the Real Reef being more red. I ended up not using the Real Reef. It's up to what you find visually appealing though. Once covered with corals and/or coralline it won't matter much.

Oh, I should mention my tuxedo urchin eats the fake purple off the rocks though and they're white underneath. Annoying, lol.
