I was wondering what some people settings on their cannon (Especially eos rebel) I have a bunch of lenses so that's not an issue. I am very interested in taking better photos than my phone.

I usually shoot with my T6i set for Aperture priority (Av on the dial). This allows me to set the aperture and the camera does everything else.

Just keep in mind the setting used in my tank under my tank lighting might/might not work for you in your tank. My settings will change also when I shoot during daylight lighting vs my blue morning/evening lighting. Things that will always help thoughI have been shooting with a t7i lately. Will try to replicate some of your settings @PedroYoung
