Can you name that leather?

A friend of mine gave me a coral, soft leather. He is shutting down the tank, and this was one of his last few. He gave it to me. He just calls at a leather , I was wanting to see if anybody else could help me get this thing identified I’m not sure if it’s more in line of a finger or a toadstool. It is about 6 to 7 inches tall. When it opens up completely flat, it is about 5 to 6 inches across.

it's a neon toadstool, looks like sarcophyton ehrenbergi. but theres many species of sarcophyton and they all have similar growth patterns.
