Hiya reefers,

I found out that you cannot drill a fluval flex tank. Got in touch with the manufacturer and they said you can't because it is tempered glass.

I'm building my first tank (fluval flex 32G) and figured I might as well post answers I find that I was looking for myself.

Hi,

I was thinking of drilling a flex 32.5. According the fluval website, none of the the flex aquarium are made from tempered glass. However, drilling one will void the warranty?
Kind of confused between to drill or not drill?

Thanks

I thought you couldn't drill it until I saw someone do it in the fluval flex group on FB. Looks great but would probably suggest to get a better tank if you're thinking of a sump. I have the flex since September and already thinking of getting something better due to the sup par filtration system and the sand buildup on the front glass
