Will it be safe to use waste water from rodi to my freshwater tank?
For houseplants and such - yes- for another aquarium- I would not
It likely contains silicates and other compounds undesirable for aquatic life

I would say it depends on the fish in there. Discus for example prefer soft water and that would probably not be a good choice. Most cichlids prefer very hard water and probably more appropriate. When I kept cichlids I always used my wastewater for my tanks.

my local lfs owner was telling me some people use it for there freshwater tanks. I also saw people using Rodi water in there freshwater tanks and using a product for trace elements, huge difference in algae outbreaks in those freshwater tanks.
