Can I treat my fish with cupramine and Prazi at the same time?

I normally do a 30 days cupramine treatment for new fish at 0.6 ppm (using Hanna Copper Testkit) regardless whether they have ich or velvet

After that, I'll do Prazi for one week.

Just asking if I can do both at the same time. Is that possible or bad for the fish?

If yes, I plan to do it near the end of cupramine treatment

PS. Never lost a new fish using my previous method although cupramine at 0.6 is a bit high

I prefer not to do that, or if I do run copper and prazi at the same time, I'll use coppersafe and prazi powder (not prazipro). The harshest combination would be Cupramine (or other ionic copper) and Prazipro (due to its oxygen scavenging action).

What fish do you have in quarantine, that also has a bearing on how this might work out.....

Cupramine is potent and I would not exceed .5 to allow room for error in measurements. Although you can like Jay, I dont favor mixing anything with copper as Prazi has glycol which can break down bonders in copper and reduces oxyge. Prazi is not one week but rather after copper you want to dose at 85% of recommended and apply initial dosage known as an interval for 8 days, do a water change and do one more 8 day dose interval
Use airstone with prazi as it does reduce both oxygen and appetite. If running a skimmer, leave cup off first 24 hrs as skimmer will go nuts from the glycol solution in Prazi

with ionic copper (cupramine) it is best to dose separately. Ionic copper doesn't play well with other medications for reference.
