One of my outlets on my EB8 is not powering on and off correctly. It does have power but when I turn it off the power does not turn off. Can this be repaired? Thanks.

Maybe. Is it out of warranty?
I would purchase a new (or used) EB8 so you can keep everything running and then look at (possibly) fixing the older one so you have a backup next time.Definitely out of warranty. I have had it for at least 7 years. Maybe longer. I have two EB8 and one has a bad outlet and I need all 16 outlets. I would rather not have to upgrade my whole system. Thanks.

The eb4 is still available, or check the marketplace section for used but they usually want to sell a complete system and not separate anything.Hi
I will definitely buy one if I can find it. They seem to be out of stock and the new energy bars are not compatible with my controller. If you can point me to one I will jump on it.
Jinx….you owe me a coke! HahaMaybe just pick up 2 EB4 units. They are in stock and then you will have some flexibility once you get you EB8 back up and running.
This. Second hand only now.The EB8 was discontinued last I heard. The EB4 is still around and definitely worth grabbing. Rock solid beasts
Also, not being a Debbie downer…but maybe I am, if one outlet has died after seven years I could only imagine more are on the way.Definitely out of warranty. I have had it for at least 7 years. It’s titled how to repair an eb8 triac. I can’t copy and paste yetThere is a thread here that talks about fixing a blown outlet.....let me see if I can find it.

edit.. also this isn’t for outlets four or eight as those are not triac and use relays if i remember right…..which usually isn’t the case
YES, it's for a blown Triac, which I believe is on the six 5A outlets. The two 10A are not Triac. Here's the link:
