Hey guys. Have had my marine tank going since '22. It's pretty bare atm, with just my female occelaris clown. She used to be in a pair, but the male died around a year ago. I was wondering if it would be an issue to reintroduce another male to the tank at this point?
Thank you!

Well, it depends on the clown. You might be able to get away with a much smaller male so she doesn’t feel the need to make him submit. Or it might make her bully him more.

Do you have an anemone? Introducing a new anemone with the new clown might help to reduce aggression if you provide more hiding spots/territory. Be prepared to pull out the new clown or maybe better would be to take out the existing clown and sump her for a few days and then add them both at the same time.
