Can I add a fireball angelfish or bi colour angelfish to one of my tanks with a newly added coral beauty

Hi I bought a coral beauty for one of my tanks that we keep in our grandmas house and I have had the coral beauty for around a couple days it is doing fine eating like a pig and it has very good colours. He is about 4 to 5cm. Can I add a fireball or a bi colour dwarf Angel in the tank with him

I’ve mixed them, but there is no rhyme nor reason to any combination other than almost NEVER mix similar (but different) looking ones together (Like flame backs with carribean pygmie)

Any mix like that is truly hit or miss. I did have a bicolor with a flameback but I can’t give you any basis for why some combos work or others don’t…
OTOH I can give you sure fire failures (Pygmy w/ flameback is a disaster) and the more they look alike, the less your odds off success

I’ve found that it is 50/50 when two angels are added at the same time. Now that the coral beauty is established, I think your odds of success have gone way done.
If you are able to either move around some rock work, so the established angel no longer has the same territory, or catch him and take him out for a couple of days and then put him back at the same time as the new angel you might have a better chance.

The coral beauty was added 2 days ago so not established

Maybe established was the wrong term. I just meant that your angel knows the tank by now, and knows and will be territorial to a new angel in a day or two
Also I have to agree with Lavey29 that in a tank that small you are taking a risk. They don’t have enough space to stay away from one another.

Yes I know it is only a 200 litre quite small tank
