can anyone tell me what type of coral this is?

My lfs said it was a chalice, but i think it's a montipora? Any feedback appreciated! Thanks reefers!

Looks like a chalice to me. Montipora do not have defined mouths like that.

Chalice have those also and chalice are considered a lps coral....my chalice sweepers get pretty long at night also

I could be wrong but acans have more defined mouths and head separation. This also looks to be growing over the plug which is indicating chalice growth. Where as acans start new heads.

Looks like a favia. Possibly something along the lines of the fascination favia.
