Hey guys - I noticed this growing on one of my rocks and now there are lots of smaller ones all over the rocks. (They aren’t clownfish eggs)
Can anyone tell me what they are?

Are they somewhat stiff or do they wave around in the current a little? If it's the latter then it might be some sort of red macro algae.

No they don’t wave around. They are very stationary.

How does it feel to the touch? Firm, yet somewhat abrasive or kind of rubbery?
