Was wondering if these are diatoms or Dino. Tank is pretty new at 6weeks old and I’ve noticed this brown stringy algae start to pop up everywhere. Seems like they’re easy to blow off the rock work but they clog up my filter fleece incredibly fast. Changed an entire roll on my redsea reefmat 500 in just 4 days. They appear everywhere and im seeing strings of it floating around my tank.

I think you're gonna get asked for white pics as well as your #s. Strings will usually point to dino's although I've seen cyano and bad diatom build up also display something similar depending on flow and die off.
