Beautiful. Congratulations. I am about to purchase the 600 model but the one thing that I am struggling with is that I can not use ecotech vortechs on rear wall. I prefer not to have power heads on side panels or wires in tank.

Do you have any future plans with your tank? Great start so far!
This weekend (Sunday) my girlfriend and I will be collecting 1 standard orange Occy clowmfish and one black storm clown. We may also purchase a tiny blue tang, yellow clown goby or lawnmower blenny, depending on availability.

We just want to select robust fish and corals to ensure we don't have any preventable deaths. Happy to take as much time as needed to ensure it'd a happy and healthy tank. Next step is to identify the best food possible.

I was sure I had heard of folks using the MP Vortechs on the back wall? Do they not fit?

You can not place the dry side of the mp 10/40/60 in the rear chamber which is water.
Of course! I am yet to fill my ATO chamber as there is a slight leak from the nozzle seal into the main display. I didn't think of such a simple thing haha.

I just set up a 600 and am using a Maxspect Gyre 330 up near the water line (very out of the way, including the wire). I suspect I’ll need a second device, and thinking a Nero that could go on the back wall and run the wire up the corner. Or maybe a second Gyre. I want to minimize all this crap in the tank as well, and the Gyres up near the top hit the right balance for me.

I have the CADE 600 S2, why can’t the Ecotech’s be attached to the rear wall?

You can do that if you have a vacuum food saver. You can vacuum pack the dry magnets and remove all the air, and it fits nicely in the back reservoirs
That is really a great idea. Is it a theory or something that you or others have done with success?

Yesterday we purchased our first inhabitants. A 1 inch blue tang and two yellow foot hermit crabs. The blue tang is slowly becoming more visible, the first 12 hours were spent wedged into a tiny crevice which is apparently a unique behaviour they display when anxious. No the tang "Daphne" is hovering on/above the rock work, visible from the front of the tank.
