For the past 3 months, I have been cultivating my own phytoplankton. I am seeing great results from my tanks. My mushrooms and zoanthids are plumper, along with seeing more vibrant colors on my SPS and LPS Corals.
And now I plan to sale in bulk and in limited quantities.
At the moment, I am cultivating Nannochloropsis. Tetraselmis, Isochrysis I am planning on growing copepods later.
I am just trying to move what I don't use. Batches will be filtered and bottled at the time of purchase to maintain freshness.
Shipping is expensive due to the packaging and weight involved. The best deal I plan to promote will be a gallon or larger quantities
You are welcome to mix and match. My preference is to sell one gallon at a time, which is equivalent to four individual quarts.
Price Breakdown Shipped.
1 quart starting out at $25.00 Shipped. Additional quarts will be $10 each and included to the same package.
1 gallon for $50 shipped. Will receive 4 individual quart bottles.
I determine each batch density and also confirm correct species through microscope verification and Secchi testing. Kindly examine the pictures the picture of what looks like a large green glob was actually a video of Nannochloropsis that I had to screenshot. Nannochloropsis is actually the largest Phyto in size.
There will only be a limited amount available. I am not aiming to make a significant amount of money. I would rather avoid flushing what I don't use and am not interested in keeping it in a fridge.
I am not going to recommend any feeding than the typical .5 Oz per 50gallons every other day. But for my system I am dosing 2Oz per 50 gallons every other day. Shelf life is pretty good. Recommend shaking up the bottle every couple of days.
Feedback for all other listings has been positive I don’t see any reason why this would be any different.
Will not hold unless payment is received. Orders will be shipped based on who paid first. I will let everyone know when the next batch is ready. In the event I received payment, or someone wanted to adjust their order If I do not have enough phytoplankton to be shipped, I will refund your money and notify you.
At the moment, I am working on label designs so photo of bottles will change.
