I had a small pocket of bubble algae pop up underneath my euphyllia garden. Unfortunately in a hard to reach spot and down in the rocks crevices and such. I tried to manually remove with airline tube and some gentle scrubbing to get them loose but ended up just popping most of them leaving the deflated skin attached to the rock still. Too hard to reach down in there and scrape.

I decided to just fill the whole dang hole with substrate and an attempt to entomb it from light. Anyone have any luck smothering out bubble algae? My efforts futile?
