TLDR - A +

Was in market for a high end acantho. Found one at another vendor, messaged them about it, and also messaged Ben @BSA Corals to see what he has that’s not on the website.

Guess what. Vendor 1 still has never even replied to me, guess they aren’t interested in making money or gaining me as a customer. Their loss.

Ben responded immediately. I gave him a budget, and what I was looking for. He gave me pictures of 5 very nice high end acanthophyllia to choose from. I’m convinced he has the nicest acantho’s in the industry.

Despite all 5 being very nice, I was looking for something specific. I wanted more of a solid color, and super bright to be a showpiece in my tank. He understood and said he’s got something in his vault. This time instead of a picture, he sent me a video, of something I felt was incredible.

Bright. Vivid. Unique. Giant lol. A 6+” 24k gold acantho. I’ve never seen acantho in gold before. I knew immediately, this is what I was looking for. I ordered this along with some Asian acans and a blasto.

Everything came well packed and healthy. I am extremely happy with this order and with Ben, who worked with me start to finish to ensure I got what I was looking for.

What was delivered, is shown in various lighting settings in my tank. This is not editing or camera tricks and doesn’t need blue only. Yes blue only makes it look good but I feel it looks even better with whites added in. I’m extremely impressed with this coral

Blastos - ignore closed ones, hammer stung them. Hammer has been relocated and they are opening again, I don’t have pics yet
