I was going to start dosing tonight but it doesn’t work anymore. Im using the brs 1.1 ml doser and it was working fine when i was calibrating it. I then started to actually try and use it with all for reef and it stopped working. I’m using the brs diy dosing container and ended up taking the cap off to make sure the tube was touching the solution.

Priming means using it with ro water right? Then yes
No that’s just testing it to see the rate.
Priming refers to letting it run for a long time to fill the entire length of tubing with the dosing solution (AFR in this case) sometimes it can take over 10 minutes depending how long the run of line is.

As long as the big white thing in the middle is spinning when plugged in it’s working.

Turn it on and let it stay on until liquid comes out the end and then turn it off and it will now be primed to the dose based off whatever you set the times for.

If the middle thing is spinning, yea just let it run for as long as it takes until some liquid starts dripping out the side that would drop in your tank, then as soon as you see that, turn it off, and set it to your dosing schedule
