Hi, I need some help or advice regarding my tank. Every day I need to clean glass surface from brown alge. It looks like dust when wiped off. My tank parameters are quite stable.
Kh..8.7
Salinity 1.024
Po4...0.03
Mag....1210
Ca....430
Temp...25c
No3...17.3
I run carbon bag Inside my sump, nyos 120 skimmer and clarisea sk3000 roller.
Tank is about 9-10 months old. Problems with dust started about 3 weeks ago, before I had zero issues. Tho I did set my radion xr15 g5 blue to Dawon settings ( could that be the issue). There is no dust on sand or rock work just in water column. Would ozon solve that problem? If you have any ideas I would appreciate it.

While this occurs, should not be an everyday task.
Is your tank at or near a window?
Are you using RODI water or tap water from faucet?

Addition of snails such as Cerith, astrea and turbo grazer will work on glass for you. Reducing white intensity will also reduce this and Increasing flow often prevents film algae and diatom stick to glass

Hey, tank is away from windows and I always use RODI water with tds meter that shows 0 atm, when it's going to 1 I change DI resin.
Will try with less white and more flow.
