Hello, I would like to know how to breed clownfish. I would like to know how to breed the clownfish, but I would also like to know other things. For example, does anyone know if raising the temperature actually helps the clownfish breed? Also, is there a season for breeding clownfish? If anyone has any tips on breeding clownfish, please tell me. Thank you.

I think getting them to breed is the easy part. Rearing the fry is the challenge.

You’ll need to master the cultivation of rotifers and phytoplankton first. If you can do that, your half way home.

Temperature does play a role in fecundity, larval survival, and growth rates for a number of species - I don't remember for sure offhand, but IIRC, around 83F or 86F is likely ideal.

They don't really have a breeding season - they just breed regularly.

For advice on breeding them:
