I heard recently that there is a ground breaking new discovery regarding the multiplication of a particular strand? of coral.. can anyone back this up? I'm just a curious george hehe

I just heard that when you break the coral and put it on a little square in a tank it will multiply ten times faster and they do it my sawing the coral like a potato turning into a chip? I don't know..
