Very good to have around. They eat ticks and generally leave your trash can alone. That's the raccoons that mess with the trash, hence the name trash panda.

We have actual Carolina panthers here. I've read that there's about 100 of them in the wild. They seem to be smart enough to know a trail cam is there, or if they get surprised by one they never come back to it. Stay well away from humans also. We have black bears also, mountains(of course) and coastal surprisingly. Altho, I'm a two hour drive from either and we had a bear walking thru the middle of town.
