Shallow tanks really are the way to go, atleast IMO. If you're a stick head, maybe not soo much but for LPS/Softy/NEM tanks, you can't beat them.
So... moved the black water tank. Turns out, I only had two baby apistos. I was counting the female as a young male. I'm down to only 4 tetras also, so I guess I'll be ordering some more of those.
Dirty stirred up FTS, removed a bunch of tannins... they will come back quickly tho. The wood is very soft and breaks down easily.
Apistogramma cacatuoides, double red pair
Offspring, moved to vacant betta tank
Pristela tetra
Old water, very soft and full of tannins. Looks like sweet tea, does not taste like sweet tea.
