Brand New 50 Gallon Living Reef Tank after a 10 YEAR Hiatus!!

Greetings ALL - I am VERY HAPPY to be Back into one of my favorite hobbies after over 10 YEARS!! I moved from Chicago to San Francisco over 10 years ago and I had 3 Saltwater Tanks at my home in Chicago but when I moved I kept putting off setting up a new tank and the next thing I knew 10 years had got behind me! I am just now starting to set up a brand new 50 gallon system and am SOO excited and am wondering why I waited SO LOOONG! Anyway this forum looks very interesting and I hope to find many new exciting ideas information and meeting people who share this same passion! I will post a few pictures as soon as the initial cloudiness dissipates. I Look forward to being part of this community!

Same thing happened to me with the waiting aspect. Twelve years passed for me tho. And it was like starting all over again, things changed so much! So Greetings and Welcome to our collective obsession!!!!

welcome back. I moved in 2008 it's now 2024 I need a calculator to the do math. I should have been setting up a sinking fund in that time before restarting. A lot of smart people here and many approaches. It sure seems everyone knows so much more now.
