Hi,

A friend of mine who owns a LFS, told me that his wholesaler have some strange zoas up for sales right now, they look just like zoas.

He said its listed as Zoa Rod, both of us have never heard of them Goolging dont give me any concrete answer, does anyone know their species name? I really want to know if they can build branches like a gorgonia or something like that, or have we been duped and its just zoa growing on a weird rock. cuz its VERY expensive.

I would assume if you glue them to a stick and move them to we’re they only have an option to grow in that stick it’s definitely possible.
yeah because we arent really sure too if the skeleton is made by the zoa or is it just zoa growing on it cuz there is pretty big distinction between the two. Its just if you look closely you can see holes which might where where zoa polyp use to live???
