Blue spotted puffer eating frozen krill. Will this help his teeth?

So the new puffer I got, is being pretty picky. Every time I put him a clam on half shell, he never touches it. I have tried almost everything frozen and finally found that he loved frozen krill. But I am worried if this will help keep his teeth filed down. I have seen him nipping at rocks too. Do tell believe this will be enough for his teeth?

This might seem cruel but you can provide him some snails and small crabs too. It's good that he is nipping at the rocks, that should help as well.
