My blue hippo tang developed this almost clear/ white spots along the spine and face. I’ve had him in qt for about three to four months trying different treatments. I have dosed Fritz coppersafe, pimafix, and melafix. Little to no result from all following directions on bottles. He still is extremely active and eats like a beast through does not seem to be getting worse. Is he ok to put back in display or what other meds should I try. Thank you picture below ⬇️ (sorry it’s a little blurry he’s very active please zoom in)

Pic is a little dark and quite fuzzy. Fish also looks quite thin. Its likely mucus cones but need again, brighter pics to accurately assess.
What foods are you offering fish?
Melafix is a useless tonic made of teak tree oil. Coppersafe will be the likely treatment but lets see pics, even video first

Tough to see clearly, but the fish seems to have head and lateral line erosion (common in this species) as well as looking a bit thin.
Did you run coppersafe at a full dose for 30 days? If so, you’re pretty safe in moving the fish to the display. Melafix and Pimafix are just herbal tonics and shouldn’t be relied on to eliminate diseases.
