Hey everyone

So I have had a lot of issues with one of my tanks and parasites

After weeks of battling with a still unknown mix of velvet/ich/ bacterial/ external parasites my fish have finally taken a turn for the best

The worst affected was one of my yellow tangs. Unfortunately I couldn’t save his right eye it’s completely gone as if it had been eaten.

I’m still in the fallow and QT process until 23rd of November.

My worry is there was already a fair amount of aggression between my tangs. My two yellows got along but clashed with my purple now I’ve had to take B1 out into his own tank for QT as he was reinfecting everyone else. Im worried with the loss of his eyesight he won’t do well being reintroduced with the other tangs

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

My mom used to say that I would lose my eyesight but it is only dimmer than when I was younger.

I have had a few fish get cloudy eyes and the majority of them recovered too. I have one damsel that completely lost an eye due to fighting, and it is still the dominant fish in the tank with only one eye. Darn thing attacks me sometimes when I am cleaning.

Hope your fish get well and recover.
