I added a Black Durgeon Trigger to my 180. There is a Niger in there. I have not seen the Indian Durgeon in several days. I don't think he could have gotten out and hes not in the overflow. But I have not seen him. I thought Maybe he was in rocks that I oved around as Triggers lock themselves into rocks so I moved them again and he was not in them. I have pipes for my eels that the Niger goes in and some rocks I did mot move. The tank has lots of rocks. I just hope he appears. He was not cheap. My last Indian Black Durgeon jumped out as I forgot to put the lids on. This one is smaller.

Maybe he jumped out and is under the sump which is elevated. I have seen posts where peoples Triggers have hid for weeks. I have not experienced this yet. The first few days he was innthe back but out. So I am not sure now where he is. No body. I paid like $180 for the last one. This one was like $120. Bad luck I guess.

Looks like he's hiding in the eel pipe. I wish I had thought to throw food in when he last popped out. I bought two pinkails to make the tank less focal on him. I redid all of the rocks yeaterday. Not sure how this is going to go with him. But he definitely is not coming out so definitely not eating. He had to be in the pipe although I do not see him. Not sire how the eels are getting through but they are.
