So I’ve had this green birds nest since it was a tiny little frag and over recent months I’ve noticed that the underside of it has very little to no polyps.

Obviously it’s due to a lack of light getting through the rest of the colony. My question is will this become a problem later on as the colony keeps growing? This birds nest is purely horizontal, and with no vertical support will the lack of life underneath become a structural problem?
