I have the Coralife protein skimmer that came as a bundle with my bio cube 32. I am getting a lot of micro bubbles and over flow . I’ve just started my Bio cube 32 …the skimmer has only been on about 7 days now. But my problem is I can’t get the airflow right, I either have too much bubbles and the lid pops off or too little bubbles and it’s not doing the job…I can’t get it to adjust right!! Any suggestions?? I’ve seen some people put a piece of tape on the lid to keep it from popping off don’t know if that’s a good idea or not??

Cool i will try that, thanks... how long does it typically take to "break in"?
It varies. My skimmer took a few days to "break in", but it can happen sooner or take even longer. Smaller skimmers seem to take longer for whatever reason.

Same setup. I got impatient of Waiting for mine to break in so I removed it. I use 40 lbs of mature live rock for filtration.
I'm not sure if mine "broke in" or not, but I put a rubber band on it to keep the lid on and it's fine
