This is a Reef Octopus model RO-PS-5000int half cone skimmer. It is rated for a heavily stocked 400g and will now handle even more with the (2) factory neck extenders which increase dwell time and volume. I was going to use this on a 300g SPS tank but have decided to use my two iTech 400’s instead. If not for already having several skimmers I would not hesitate to use this.
This is a quality skimmer and the pump is in excellent condition; no pins missing on wheel; runs smooth and quiet.
It is approximately 30” tall with both extensions and approximately 24” tall in original configuration.
This skimmer is $650 new online and the extensions are $60 each. So this package would be $770 new.
This has about 2 years of use. There is a crack in the collection cup which has been repaired with Weldon and does NOT leak at all. It is purely cosmetic and I am taking that blemish into consideration with the price.
