I've started to get some GHA and another variety (shorter and darker then GHA) in my 20G. Since the tank is small, I have no problem staying on top of it by manually removing. I have 2 pairs of tweezers and neither one seems to be able to grab a hold of it. They close more towards the tip then across the whole gripping area.

Anyone have a link to a really awesome pair of tweezers or any other tool that can assist in effective removal?

TIA!

I agree with old/hard toothbrushes -- scrape and catch the GHA in the bristles rather than scrub and let fly all over the tank (as much as possible).

I did see someone post multiple times about using a stainless steel straw hooked to small hose to syphon which looked like a good idea but never tried it.
