My 13.5g fluval evo isn’t mature enough to start adding corals yet, but for when I do, I found this really interesting lid made specifically for that tank (I have to have a lid because of cats). This would give me the ability to get a better light so maybe I could grow more types of coral than I could with the stock light. That being the case, what are your suggestions on a “goose neck” light that I could clip onto the back filter compartment to hang over this lid?

I’m using one of these tanks as my coral quarantine with the stock light. It was good enough for a 45 day quarantine, never bothered changing the light but I do have a AI hydra to put on it.

I need a lid but $85 is absolutely insane price. I would just build one out of a black window screen kit before I paid that.

I’ve thought about doing that once I have my 150 up and running but I don’t think my pygmy wasp would do very well with the fish I’m planning on stocking that with, so I’ll probably just have a big and a little reef. Also I know this isn’t much better but the price in that picture is in CAD, it’s $63 USD
